Lt. Dave Robicheaux, a director in New Iberia, Louisiana, is hoping to connect with the murder of a neighborhood hooker to New Orleans mobster Julie (Baby Feet) Balboni, who's co-producer of a Civil War film. At precisely exactly the same period, after Elrod Sykes, the celebrity of the film, reports finding another corpse from the Atchafalaya Swamp nearby the picture series, Robicheaux starts another evaluation, believing the corpse are the remains of a dark person he saw being murdered 3-5 decades before.
