Felix Austria
The tumultuous romance between a maid named Stefania Chornenko and a blueblood named Adelia Anger serves as the centerpiece of the story, which is set against the backdrop of provincial Austria-Hungary in the year 1900. During the course of the fire, Stefania's parents and Adelia's mother both perished. The orphan was adopted by Adelia's father, who was a neighbor. Although Stefania worked as a maid, the girls were raised together and had a relationship that was on par with that of sisters. This relationship evolves into a love-trap, which on the one hand is characterized by mutual manipulation and jealousy and, on the other hand, is founded on care and commitment. When Adelia gets married to the sculptor Petro, the illusion of equilibrium is shattered. When Joseph, Stefa's former love interest and now husband, comes back to town as the local priest, everything gets much more convoluted than it always was. Illusions are doomed to be dispelled, and reality will eventually come into focus.
