Kirsten Johnson, the film's director, is looking for a way to keep her 86-year-old father alive for as long as possible. She uses moviemaking skills and her family's dark humor to make fun of Dr. Dick Johnson's last years by making up stories about death and beyond. Together, dad and daughter face the great thing that will happen to us all.
