Céline
Céline, then22, receives the bulk of her father's inheritance upon his death, but she gives it to her stepmother instead, prompting her selfish fiance to break off their engagement. Céline has attempted suicide multiple times before landing herself in the hospital, where she meets Genevieve, a nurse who also suffers from depression. Céline's health improves under her watchful eye, and the two ladies develop a strong bond as a result.
