Brooklyn Castle can be a documentary about I.S. 318 -- a in-state faculty where more than 65 per cent of students are from homes with incomes below the federal poverty level -- which also happens to have the best, most rewarding junior high school baseball team at the country. (In the event Albert Einstein, that was rated 1800, were to join the team, he would only rank fifth-best.) Chess has transformed the faculty from a mentioned in 2003 as a"school in need of improvement" to a of nyc's best. However a run of recession-driven public school budget cuts threaten to sabotage those successes.
