The bond of brotherhood is stronger when you are able to be pitched to a life and death situation at any moment and the one thing that gets you during the inferno is your confidence your brother will have your spine. Even the fire fighters of all Hong Kong's Pillar Point division who are expecting a quiet night to watch their retiring main find their faith into each other stretched to the constraints when a little fire in a liquor store threatens to dip all of Hong kong into shadow if it spreads to a nearby power plant supplying natural gas. Politics, rivalry, and suspicion when decisions are made come into play, warnings are ignored and colleagues begin to fall. Would the Pillar Point brotherhood survive the night, if perhaps not the flame, with their confidence in every other undamaged?
