Jake Huard, from the ship builders family, promised his dying mother he'ld make it into Anapolis Naval Academy. Because of tenaciously bugging a Congressman, he has chosen despite suspicious grades. Once indoors, Jake soon proves sub-standard academically. Challenged to his limits, repeatedly left the'over-cocky' reason for the entire class to suffer, after facing his completely un supportive daddy's gloating returns just in time, although Jake almost stops. Stubborn Jake finds support withs partners in addition to Senor Ali, his lover-to-be, and a discipline he may excel in: the'brigade' boxing championship.
