Dependent on the drama of the identical name by Pulitzer prizewinner Cormac McCarthy, this searing two-character drama blends comedy and pathos when examining the relationship between strangers who are attracted together by circumstances. Set in a New York tenement flat, the story centers around two very different men - a deeply religious black excon who thwarts the suicide attempt of an asocial white college professor who strove to throw himself in front of an oncoming subway train,'The Sun Set Limited.' Because usually the sole tries to connect to some spiritual, fair and emotional level, one other remains loyal in their own despair.
