The Red Violin
Spans 300 years in the life of a famed instrument that winds upward in the auction block in Montreal. Crafted by the master Bussotti (Cecchi) in 1681, the red violin derives its unusual color from the human blood mixed in to the finish. With this heritage, the stunt travels to Austria, England, China, and Canada, leaving the tragedy and beauty in its aftermath up.
