The Catered Affair
Jane tells to the group over breakfast that she and Ralph will get married the following week. Just a simple, family-only ceremony and no reception are all that Jane and Ralph need. Because Jane's parents are impoverished, Jane and Ralph can borrow a car for their honeymoon. Ralph's parents, on the other hand, talk nonstop about their daughters' lavish weddings at dinner that night, and the situation escalates. Suddenly, there are hundreds of people in attendance at a large wedding breakfast. The problem is that Tom has been saving money for 12 years to buy his own taxi and license, but now that he can, all of his money is going to a wedding that neither he nor Jane or Ralph desire.
