Kit Kittredge: An American Girl
Home for nine year-old Kit Kittredge when her dad leaves to get work and loses his business is hit by the Great Depression. Oscar nominee Abigail Breslin stars as Kit, resulting in a splendid cast in the first ever"American Girl" theatrical movie. In order to keep their home, her mum and Kit has to simply take in boarders - paying house - guests who come out to be full of stories. When mother's lockbox featuring their money is stolen, the new hobo friend Will of Kit is the prime suspect. She is got by her efforts to sniff out the true story, and kit won't believe Will would steal and friends in to issue. The police say the robbery was an inside job, committed by somebody they know. When it wasn't Will, then who achieved it.
