A free medical clinic run by volunteers in south Philadelphia, Puentes de Salud. Doctors and nurses work for free to help those who might otherwise be forgotten. Max Pozdorovkin's Clinica de Migrantes follows the personnel and patients of Puentes through months of ordinary treatment and progress. People displaced from their homes, separated from their families, unfamiliar with local customs, unable to obtain health insurance, and afraid to seek medical treatment are all depicted in the video. Clinica looks at the amazing doctors and nurses who work pro bono to guarantee these patients get care, presenting a very poignant glimpse at humanity's boundless potential.
