Nev, a 24-year-old New York-based photographer, has no idea what he's in for when Abby, an eight-year-old girl from rural Michigan, contacts on Facebook, trying to consent to paint one of his photographs. If he receives her painting, Nev begins a correspondence and friendship with the family of Abby. But things really get interesting when he develops a cyber-romance with Abby sister, version , a musician and Megan. Prompted by some revelations about Megan, also his buddies and Nev attempt a road trip in search of the reality.
