In 1932, a cop is killed and Frank Wiecek sentenced to life. Eleven decades later, a newspaper ad by Frank's mum leads Chicago reporter P.J. O'Neal to look into the situation. For some time, O'Neal continues to think Frank guilty. But when he starts to improve his own thoughts, he matches resistance from police unwilling to be shown incorrect.
