Struggling Brandon tries hard in his first year of college to concentrate on his studies, but dance is his love. His geeky roommate Nate offers they form a dancing crew, but they can't find any other freestylers. So they look for additional members all throughout town: a breakdancer, a performance artist, a Bhangra dancer, an animator, a ballerina, and a ballroom dancing mom. Brandon's old crew, Levelz, hosts a nationwide dance battle where Brandon can show himself and his family that he and his crew can make it as dancers.
