After tragic death of her baby child, a mother with young kid is affected with sleep disruptions that are frightening as they make an effort to manage grief and ongoing pain. They begin experiencing episodes of parasomnia including nighttime terrors and sleep paralysis, leaving them just able to observe horrible fantasies and struggling to go. These nightmares become bothering as they make a rift within their realities evoking the mum to believe something or someone else is watching her sleeping every night. Soon the frightening fantasies from their dreams start to manifest to a reality, leaving the mum susceptible.
