Of Kings and Prophets
An epic biblical saga of ambition, faith and betrayal as told through the prophet Samuel, the eyes of the King Saul and the shepherd David--on a collision course. 1000 years before Christ, the very first king of the Israelites, Saul, struggles to merge the 1-2 Israelite tribes and defend his fledgling state against savage enemy strikes. The prophet Samuel relays a message from God into King Saul that he must destroy one of the ancient enemies of Israel. However, if Saul defies that message, Samuel prophesies that the kingdom of Israel wills rip from him and pick the following in his place. In time, Saul comes to realize that his threat won't come from his enemies, but by David, the courthouse.
