Solomon and Sheba
Under the rule of King David, Israel is united and booming but surrounded by enemies for example Egypt and its own allies. The King David that is aging favors his younger son, Solomon, as his successor, but a warrior, David's elder son Prince Adonijah, declares himself King. When David learns of the, he openly admits Solomon to be his own successor. His overall, Joab and adonijah, withdraw in rage. Israel prospers under King Solomon's wise and benevolent rule and continues to be regarded to tyrannical monarchs from the region as a threat. The Pharaoh of Egypt agrees to cede the Queen of Sheba a Red Sea port in a scheme to sabotage Solomon's rule. Sheba is always to seduce Solomon and introduce ancestral worship that is Sheban into Jerusalem. Prince Adonijah banished conspires with Pharaoh and is given an army to defeat Solomon. The film is Second Chronicles chapter 9 -- First Kings chapter 10 and an extremely fictionalized dramatization of events represented from The Bible.
