Ivan the Terrible, Part II: The Boyars' Plot
This could be the 2nd part of a projected three-part epic biopic of Russian Czar Ivan Grozny, performed by Sergei Eisenstein at Josef Stalin's behest. Production of this epic poem has been discontinued prior to the part can be filmed, with Eisenstein's introducing forbidden experimental filming techniques in to the material evident within this part compared to the first part, as a result of manufacturer dissatisfaction. This part has been prohibited before the deaths of the Stalin and Eisenstein, and a big change of attitude by the subsequent heads of the government, as it had been. Within this part, as by building a personal army Ivan the Terrible attempts to consolidate his power, the boyars, his rivals, plot to punish him.
