The sheriff of a small town in New Mexico , will Kane, learns a notorious outlaw he put in prison will be coming on the noon train, and was freed. Understanding the screenplay and his group have been coming to kill him, Kane is determined to stand his own ground, so he gathers a posse from one of the local townspeople.
